SCAD VISUAL EFFECTS STUDENTS PRODUCE A SHORT FILM AT TAI’O VILLAGE - HONG KONG

Professor Gabriel led his visual effects (cinema) students to Tai‘O fishing village in Hong Kong - to showcase the life and culture of the fishermen and their livelihood off the busy city in hong Kong. Students majoring in visual effects spend a large amount of time on the computers to work on their projects. Gabriel encourages his students to observe natural surroundings, and understand the importance of cinematography in planning and shooting live-action videos. The real-world experience will enable the students to apply their cinematic knowledge to their visual effects projects.
